Privacy Policy

RocketApply ("we", "us") builds a Chrome extension that helps you autofill job-application forms. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and the control you have over it. We designed RocketApply to collect as little as possible and to keep you in charge of your own information.

Information we collect

• Application answers you save. The details you enter into forms (such as name, email, phone, and work history) so we can fill them in for you later.
• Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address to create and sync your account.
• Extension settings. Your per-site preferences, such as whether capture is enabled on a given domain.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect data on sites where you have not enabled capture.
• We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We do not track your browsing activity across the web.

How we use your information

• To detect form fields and autofill your saved answers.
• To sync your answers across the devices where you are signed in.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the extension.

Data storage and security

Your saved answers are associated with your account and stored securely. Data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS. We restrict access to your data to what is necessary to operate the service.

Your choices and control

• Per-site control. Enable or disable capture on any site directly from the extension popup.
• Delete your data.Use "Delete my data" in the popup to permanently remove your saved answers at any time.
• Sign out. Signing out stops syncing on that device.

Third-party services

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's own privacy policy. We do not share your saved answers with Google beyond what is required to authenticate you.

Children's privacy

RocketApply is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the extension or by email where appropriate.
